Never went inside the cathedral but was nice to take in and admire its history from the outside. Usually street entertainment and small stands around the area so gives you something to do while there. Recommend checking it out if your visiting.
Nice cathedral in midst of hustling NOLA. Very serene interior. Outside on the street you can find a bunch of Tarrot card readers/palm readers. A must place to visit while in the area.
If you want to go inside, best to head there earlier around noon or before 4, it was closed the first day we tried. But totally worth a second visit, it's a tranquil break from the excitement of the quarter. Be reverent and respectful of course.
Even on a gloomy day, the cathedral is quite nice! The inside was absolutely beautiful. Definitely a great spot to check out.
Beautiful Cathedral. Always reminds me of that first clip from Disney World. Pretty quiet compare to all crazy world outside of the building. Definitely go!
