This clinic is taking advantage of their role as the only one within hundreds of miles to scam women. They lie to women and tell women who have private insurance coverage they cannot get reimbursed by their insurance companies (this is untrue, if you have Medicaid or bought a plan through the Obamacare marketplace you cannot get reimbursed but many employer based and group plans have no problem reimbursing for elective abortion) and refuse to provide an itemized receipt with a breakdown of services that can be used to get insurance reimbursement. This is bizarre as all it would require is them writing down the pertinent information, and you have already paid in full so they still will not have to deal with insurance (just the patient would). It seems like they are trying to hide an unsavory pricing scheme and taking advantage of women in the process who don't have any other options. Shameful.

This is the only in state option as of 5/2016...you feel that throughout the experience. When they say all day, they mean ALL DAY. The surgical Dr was personable. She reminded us that this was her job-so she was in great spirits, singing and all. I respect that. Looking for tender love and care-wrong place, but that's not a bad thing bc you're not there for that. Show up with your big girl panties on. Nobody is there to hold your hand and rub your back and ask if you're sure. Nobody there other than the front desk clerk talks too much or too loud. Nobody was rude, just straight to the point. They call you by #. It's a lot of ppl coming in and out and looking in your face. They can't help that bc it's a business. Protestors were aggressive in the front.

This was my first experience with a place like this. The staff was friendly, but there seems to be some cattiness between the female doctor and some of the staff and I really was in no mood for it. I had to make 3 seperate visits and the last 2 visits were much better. Their appointments are done in order of how you arrive at the clinic, so if you have a counseling appointment at 11, then so do 20 other people so don't show up at the last minute. And yes you will be there for a long time. I was under the impression there would be a bit more privacy, but the place is very busy so if you are shy or apprehensive bring someone with you for support. Nearly everything here is done as a group. Also, after paying over 500$ for my medical abortion, it failed to remove all tissue and I chose to see a private doctor for d&c instead of returning for surgical. Keep that in mind when deciding between which procedure. The clinic will perform a surgical for no charge if the medical failed, but in hindsight I wish I would have chosen surgical. Overall, I would recommend the clinic. Some things they should improve on is professionalism of staff and more organization.

Went here several years ago for a termination. Had to go through all the state mandated bs, but the abortion itself was quick and as easy as could be expected. I liked the doctor quite a bit - I might have wished the nurses were a little warmer, but they were swamped.

Procedure: It was quick. No horror story or near death feeling. No awful pains. I didn't need the pain meds or ibuprofen prescribed. You will be fine!

Tip: Be smart. Use condoms and avoid this route. It's a mental/spiritual battle way more than it is physical.

This is a respectable place. The woman who works at the front desk is warm and kind and reassuring. The doctors are competent and to the point. They have many patients as this is now the only clinic in the city, so you will have to wait a long time. The procedure itself was somewhat painful-- they cannot put you under-- but it was a very brief two minutes. If you have your mind made up, don't let the horror stories scare you. This is a safe and respectable establishment.
