They repaired my watch for $30 and I thought it would be a lot more, took one day. I was impressed. Looks like they have a lot of quality jewelry here too.
I have shopping at Adler's for almost 40 years! In those years and this year, I have been very well-pleased. Is it a perfect store? No, it is not, but whenever they have made a mistake, they corrected the mistake. Also, at the Canal Street store--Anita Craig has been quite helpful. Hopefully, I will find myself shopping at Adler's, for the rest of my life!

Let me say straight away that as a watch enthusiast I commonly go into authorized dealers and look at their offerings with no intent to buy, just to appreciate, so when I saw a Patek in the window of Adler's I jumped in. The lady who greeted me seemed bothered and when I told her I'm just looking around she literally turned around, and then started shadowing me around the counters as I went along. An older Asian lady came downstairs and, being the only one in there, I heard her say "What's he doing, he's not buying anything". Normally I wouldn't care (ADs are famous for being ridiculous snobs) but I'm actually gearing up to buy a Rolex for my 30th birthday, and if they would have shown an iota of interest in showing me a piece or asking what I'm interested in, where I'm from etc I would've happily put them on my list of potential retailers when that time comes. Unfortunately just another bad AD who caters only to their established clients and not potential buyers. Thumbs down on this one. Not to mention they had a small pre-owned case, with a ladies date just with an $8k price tag hanging off of it!?! I didn't even ask about their other offerings;I knew what to expect.
Two stars because the lady gave me a Cartier booklet...
Not once have I ever seen or heard such treatment, Never at Adler's. Much of our family used you and I know this response would horrify them as it did me.
I am amazed to look to Adler's, which our family used always, older Mr Adler was a good friend of my Grandfather and I worked Christmases there when out of LSU. Colman, the son hired me. I will say that I was appalled at the treatment given to the lady buying diamond earrings for her two Granddaughters.
