Most major cities DO NOT allow glass to be recycled in their recycling programs, due to the cost involved.

The mayor is upset that Trump pulled out of the Paris Agreement, and while I am also upset by this, I find the mayor's attitude very hypocritical considering we can't even recycle glass in this city. Of all the bars in this city, there is not a recycling bin in any of them. And even if there were, we cannot recycle glass, which is the cleanest material to recycle. Real progressive cities REQUIRE you to recycle. But instead of addressing this and our out of control murder rate, he takes down historical monuments. ZERO sense of priorities!

No one at the mayor's office gives a darn about getting back to the tax paying people of New Orleans. No matter how many emails or calls I've made with regards to my concern, I never hear back.

Mayor Landrieu did, in fact, sign a massive federal consent decree to clean up and restructure the NOPD. I see this listing was only created for people who are mad at him for takkng down confederate monuments.

The primary responsibilities of our government is to insure the security, maintain law and order, and protect the citizens. Mayor Landrieu is an absolute failure at accomplishing this primary responsibility. He failed to allow or fund police training and allowed the force to dwindle to a level of officers that is hundreds of men short of what we all need. He appoints the police chief and controls the budget, thus this responsibility is clearly on his shoulders. He has wasted our money and efforts on other less important issues.

Mayor is a complete coward who wouldn't let the actual citizens of New Orleans decide wether or not to remove the monuments. Guarantee he flees the city after he isn't mayor any longer.
