The therapist spent almost an hour with me, did a comprehensive physical exam, ran me through a battery of range of motion tests, and then explained the spinal anatomy and theory behind my pain and the course of treatment he was suggesting.
I was referred to Crescent City Physical Therapy by my primary care doctor for lower back pain. The physical therapist spent about ten minutes total with me, gave me a very limited physical exam, instructed me to do a single exercise, and told me to come back again. Then I found out that a 10 minute evaluation without any actual treatment cost me $82. The visit provided no pain relief and did not help me understand or treat the causes of the pain.
