It was always a 5 star visit on previous trips to Breaux Mart in River Ridge. Even after moving to Ponchatoula, I still make weekend trips to purchase meat. In my opinion, Breaux Mart has the best turkey wings and I can find smoked turkey necks that are the right size.
Great selection of wines and spirits. Convenient prepared meals and decent produce options.
Today when I checked out, the male cashier must have been having a bad day cuz he didnt put my bags in the cart and never said thank you. I had to ask him to load the bagged items in my cart and when I told him thank you, I had to say it 3 times before he finally responded. Courtesy should always be practiced by cashiers. Breaux Mart should counsel its cashiers about being courteous. If this happens on my next trip, I will start going to Metairie Breaux Mart for my meat trips.
