Wow! Beautiful, wiled, so much to learn and see. Great, well maintained zoo. I spent whole day wondering around, taking pictures. I got to talk to very nice people who take care of animals. Amazing place to visit w with kids

Drove from Panama City to visit family in New Orleans. Stopped by the zoo and we loved it, the exhibits were kind of small for the animals but they always had proper food and water so it wasn't that bad. It was was 23 per person but I think it was worth it, roman candy was available and all of the sections were good, the animals were great and the whole place was clean and well kept, would definitely recommend coming here if you're in the area or just looking for something to do.

Amazing experience. If I can give them 10 stars I would. We drove up from Miami, Florida for Hurricane Irma. And they gave us VIP passes for a free train and carousel ride. Plus the zoo is huge ! So many beautiful animals and a super clean environment. The people their were amazing. Great customer service and will be back in December for winter... My wife and Kids were super happy with their experience as well.

Kid-friendly. You can rent a child stroller. Lots of monkeys compare to other animals. Clean air (not smelly). Peaceful place. Carousel and train available but not included in the ticket. Indoor reptiles and butterfly show room. A good restaurant and cafe. The ticket is quite expensive.

Great zoo! I was surprised to have spent almost the entire day there, though reviews said the average time spent was about 2 hours. They have a great variety of amphibians(frogs mainly) and reptiles! There was also a two-headed snake among the reptiles in display. The animals were sorted both geographically and categorically. Great place to take the kids.
