Friendly staff/cashiers, there's a lady who gives candies to the kiddies, I love that, so sweet,
I’ve been shopping here for a long time, and specifically thrift shopping as well. This place is still cheaper than retail but just barely. The employees are instructed to “google” items so that they can mark them up accordingly. As such, they price stuff WAAAAY too high for used thrift store items. However, if you get a good color sale you can sometimes find a good item discounted. But it takes some serious searching. I’ve seen a Kate Spade dress new with tags here retail was $248 and they had it marked for $149.95 - I’ve gotten better deals at Nordstrom Rack - literally. I’ve seen Kate Spade there on better sales. So it really just depends on how much work you’re willing to do to dig, what the sale is that week and how much you want to pay. I will say too that the lines are ALWAYS crazy long (10-20 people) but it does usually move fast. The cash only policy is incredibly shady and I wouldn’t be surprised if employee or corporate stealing was an issue. Be warned as well that if an item is missing a price, they will REFUSE to sell it to you - it goes in the back to be re-priced (which is where the googling goes on
Normally I love this place, but, after 2 hours of shopping in the packed store, I go to pay and I'm informed that I don't get the discount because I'm not a senior. I asked my sister to pay for it because she got the discount. The super rude cashier ran down and told the lady she was only 54, not 55. I was ready to spend $150 but, because of 1 year, I didn't. Be sure to read the fine print before you go. I am only ranting because I work in management and I know they have the flexibility to do whatever they want.
It's a pretty good thrift store. Quite large with a good selection in all areas. I wish the clothes were sorted by size instead of color.
Parking is scare, so when you see a spot, grab it.
What's not to love here? Clothes for the low-low. I mean most clothes and items are gently used, some are even BRAND NEW, TAGS & ALL. Housewares, kitchen items, bedrooms items, dishes etc
CASH ONLY, however there's an ATM for your convenience, but watch out for the fee. Oh and NO DRESSING/CHANGING ROOMS, so eye that piece very good before making a purchase because ALL SALES ARE FINAL. BUT, I have seen people trying on items in the rear of the store behind shelves (no nudity) but clothes over clothes.
The store has a lot of great pictures and items. However, be careful as some o the prices are just plain RIDICULOUS for a thrift store. Secondly, I echo a lot the commenters in the fact that while the store itself is ok, the women that were there are angry , bitter and lack any form of customer service. One angry female employee told me I better NOT shop off her rack today. Disgusting.
I call BS.
Separated into sections, there's something here for EVERYONE. And on certain days, you can catch a sale on items that are tagged with a particular color. I was there once and there was 50% off red tags, I was searching HIGH & LOW.
