I went to this Walmart this evening and picked up a few items. I had 19 items in my cart and I walked up to the express checkout. No one was in line 3 cashiers were just standing talking. As I approach the counter the cashier says “Do you have more than 21 items”? I told her no I didn’t think so. As I was putting my stuff on the counter a guy walks up. I said since he only has one item you can go ahead and check him out. And she yells “Ohh I know I’m going to go ahead and check him out” I then said you don’t have to be so rude! And then words flew from then on. I asked to speak with a manager and I was waiting about 25 feet from the cashier and she is telling the other cashiers “I’m going to show them white people” As the manager walks up I was trying to explain to him what had happened and she was saying that she never said anything. I told him we’ll just go pull video and watch it and you will see exactly what happened. He then looked at me and said he didn’t believe me. He wouldn’t listen to anything I was telling him. He says he has had nothing but great reviews on that cashier. Absolutely no doubt I was treated this was because I am white. The cashier had already made racist remarks and then to be told your telling a lie when he could have simply reviewed the video. I have never been so disrespected before. I just don’t understand why the manager didn’t just go review the video and he could have easily seen what had happened. I just don’t understand how a company like Walmart can treat customers this way. It could have been a simple quick fix but yet the cashier and manager made sure I knew they don’t like white people. The racist remarks from the cashier alone should have be investigated by the manager but yet he wants to say he didn’t believe me. I would do anything to have recorded this incident but I never expected anything like that to ever of happened.
I have been to at least 52 plus Super WalMarts across the world;) There were no con at this Super Walmart that were obvious. The pros is that it was convenient to my location. I would likely recommend this Super Walmart just because you are in the area.
I went to this Walmart to buy a cooler. Typical Walmart for this area. Not very clean, tons of employees who never seem to be working. When asked about something in the store employees seem to not know where anything is nor can they point you to someone who does. Found a cheap cooler and bought it. Pretty similar to most Walmart trips, poor customer service, very cheap products, but, after some searching, they had what I needed when I needed it.
Very nice, clean, and safe walmart. Only problem is the check out lines. They only ever have a couple open. So if you don't want to wait in line go early in the morning or late at night. During the day it's a nightmare.
Bakery was amazing, everything fresh and well stocked even this close to Thanksgiving. Restrooms could stand to be looked after but not the worst I've been in by far. Large selection of the Ugliest holiday sweaters I've ever seen- it was awesome
