I feel like soy sauce was poured all into my Hibachi rice and it tasted 2 steps away from eating raw salt with a spoon.
We were very pleasantly surprised with Little Tokyo. Place was clean, staff was exceptionally nice, service was quick, and food was excellent. The Fire Sticky Wings were amazing, we will be returning if only for the wings. The Gyoza and Tonkotsu Ramen were also delicious, highly recommended.
The chicken was really nice, fresh, hot and juicy but it's hard to accept average when you know there's so much better out there.
The hostess was very nice and friendly but the food can just be better.

We had lunch here and the food was very average - not terrible by any means, but also not exceptional. The appetizers we got were definitely overpriced, but the rest of the menu was reasonable. Service was pretty good. Maybe we just caught the chef on a meh day. I wouldn't rule out trying them again in the future.
A nice formal/casual between place to get a meal. The prices are moderate. The restaurant on Carrollton is a smaller version of the one in Metairie. This one also has karaoke and private rooms. You must try some sake. Not many places carry it in New Orleans. There's enough seating for a small party (6-12) to be seated comfortably. The staff is super friendly, but keep the walking lanes clear bcause this location does a lot of deliveries to the Tulane/Loyola area.
Average food, over seasoned, and more than average wait time IMO.
