Matassa's has great produce and grocery for quick things. Their deli counter is fantastic and their pizzas specifically are great. The Mufaletta pizza was so good. Everyone is really friendly too!
Has most of the basics you might need in a pinch. Milk, bread, fruit/veggies, prepared foods, snacks, cleaning products and of course liquor (at the front counter). Deli counter in back with grill has limited selection of breakfast choices, but maybe that is because we are from NY and used to different selections. They take credit/debit cards. Helpful staff.
Family-owned, historic grocery. Awesome hot food and sandwiches, delivery, good prices, friendly staff. Every time I shop at Matassa's I feel glad that I did.
I just stopped by the deli for some pie and was surprised at how good it was. I went back again before my vacation was over.
Best store in the quarter. Love that they have local and long history. People young and old! Great food, great people, great environment!
