This park is the only example of a Bottom Land Hardwood Forest left in New Orleans. It has bathrooms and covered Picnic areas along with a short trail thru the woods.

Monday - Friday: 9:30am – 4:30pm
The Wilderness Park is closed on Mardi Gras, Memorial Day, Labor Day and Thanksgiving.
Weekends | Open to groups for fee-based educational programs only
