This is so over priced, however I did enjoy myself. This tour is educational, if you can hear what they are saying on the crappy microphone and if you can figure out what building they are talking about. Saying "ok folks look to your left, this place is know for..." is not helpful, they need to be more descriptive. I spent half the time figuring out what they were referring to, So by the time I did I missed what there was to learn.
A MUST DO! for families, or those traveling with young children. Our driver (The wonderful Ms.Tasha) and guides (Paul and Ray) were kind, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help us have a good time. This company impressed us so much with their patience, professionalism, and love for their positions (and city!!) Transportation + education + entertainment all in one. Certainly not "overpriced"; you're getting great value for your travel investment. Thanks so much!
Great way to see the city and hop around throughout the day. Our guide was Paul, and the man has the history and the heart. He is passionate about this city. Might be a little pricey for the tour, but I'm glad we did it.
Great way to explore the city a bit to get your bearings and discover where you want to explore further. I do the city seeing hop on hop off in almost every new city I go to, and I always enjoy it. This is the first city I've seen where they ask for tips, which is odd, if you get on and off at every stop that makes the already pricey tickets even more expensive. We got the 3 day pass and I can't say that I would do that again in New Orleans. We wanted to use it as a means of transportation. Honestly that's not a great idea as it's quicker to walk to your destination usually. But the one day we used this all day it was great to hear the different guides' stories about New Orleans. All the drivers were fantastic at their jobs, flipping u turns in a massive bus is impressive. They were all so friendly. But a special shout out to Trudy P. She was amazing. She went above and beyond for my friend and I. I can't thank her enough!! She truly seems to love her job and the people she drives around her city! Thanks Trudy!! You made our day more than you know!!
Recently visited NOLA. Have taken the hop on hop off tour bus before to see things in San Francisco. My husband and I were pleased with the whole experience for the hop on hop off bus ride in NOLA. The tour bus stopped at all the places we would want to see if we were driving ourselves. Both the bus driver and tour guide were very nice and our tour guide gave us great information. Buses are said to come every 30 min or so but we found that they only take an average of 20 min which was very nice since it was hot and we had a lot to see. Overall great experience and I would recommend if you want to see a lot in a short amount of time.
