The cafe is always clean, never too crowded, and affords a great place to work on a laptop (multiple outlets).
Cold brew is great and staff is very friendly. The location to our hotel was awesome. Not a huge fan of the hummus but I think it's just a personal preference. My husband enjoyed his croissant breakfast sandwich. Well priced for sure.
Loved the baked goods and coffee! I am a coffee snob and this place has it dialed in. The fresh juices are also very good. Definitely worth a visit for breakfast, lunch or a lighter meal. On my 7 day trip to NOLA I ate breakfast here everyday because it was SOOOO good.
We were displaced by a fire and spent two weeks in nearby hotels, so I've visited Avenue Cafe every day for two weeks.
The staff are very friendly and the owner is hands-on and clearly knows what he is doing. They compost and recycle all their waste, and even provide glassware instead of plastic cups for the self-serve water.
The coffee is delicious, as is the food. In fact, yesterday I had the single most delicious tuna sandwich I've ever had in a restaurant.
Good place to meet and talk. Quiet, clean, comfortable. Nice treats.
Nice place. Gluten free options. Pastries tasty as well as the Morning Glory Tea Bread. Fresh Squeezed juice and Cold Brew Coffee available.
