Cafe Luna is a cozy quiet spot for coffee and baked goods. Very liberal, in a classic New Orleans home with an outdoor eating space shaded under a large oak. The coffee is very good, as is the food. The atmosphere is what makes Cafe Luna special. It's a great place to chill out with a cold cup of ice coffee on a hot day for couples, friends, families, or just solo.
Cute place, love the outdoor seating! Stopped here for breakfast and coffee. My espresso drink was one I wouldn't usually order, so I won't comment on that. The menu didn't seem to have many vegetarian options so I chose the what seemed like one option I could choose and it was okay.
I live a block from this place. I've tried ordering food from them maybe once every week or two for the last few months and it's impossible. They either aren't serving, don't do takeout, don't have food ready, etc... I don't understand why you have a menu if it's only available for like 3 hours, one or two days a week. Your staff must field so many frustrated phone calls asking for food.
Best hand pour coffee I've had in a long time. 5 bean options, and many options to brew it. Wonderful patio. Good food too. Loved the espresso brownie
