Classic pre-prohibition style cocktails by young bartenders. The bar is located directly across the street from Louis Armstrong park (also a must-see!). Drinks are well-mixed and some of the cheapest in town. Daily happy hour specials from 12-5pm. Don’t get in a hurry and enjoy a good drink.

Walked in around 5:30, found a nice spot by a great little fireplace, and it went south from there!! Two girls behind the bar, never acknowledged us, so we sat, and sat while one was too busy on her smart phone, and the other was chatting with other patrons. A handsome young guy walked in after us, and of course the “texting girl” waits on him first! Eventually we try and order, and they had no white wines listed on the wine list, and both of these girls seemed confused, which is when we got up and left! Great little spot, BAD staff - unusual in NOLA!
This bar is not geared towards tourists so do not go. We are a group of young professional females in our 30s chatting. There was a thin male who claimed to be the bar manager who was trying to flirt with some girls who berated us and said "You are loud, shut the f up.". It was borderline verbal abuse and I would not recommend this bar to anyone. This bar needs a new manager. I get the feeling that he chooses to verbally abuse patrons so he can feel like he can exercise some power. DO NOT GO HERE!
