This place gets five stars because I’ve been here for a week and have had oysters at every place I’ve been but this is the best. Absolutely outstanding raw and char grilled oysters. Every single day I have been to a different place and had the same meal. Absolutely the best. Sean drinks good service excellent ambience.
Ate here last night, around 10. Our waitress was great! She was very knowledgeable about all the beers on tap ( the machine was acting up so we went through a few). I ordered half a dozen char grilled oysters. They came out a little too fast, and while the metal tray they came on was hot, the oyster was barely warm. There was melted cheese, and then unmelted cheese thrown on top. I ate 3 and started to not feel right. And turns out they gave me food poisoning. I’m assuming they sat somewhere for a while before getting some cheese thrown on them & i was unlucky enough to be served them. 2 stars are only because the service was great, other wise it would be zero stars.
Seriously one of the most unfriendly, rude bartenders I've ever had in New Orleans, and that's saying something. She? Made us feel very unwelcome. Stacey the other bartender was very nice. Over all the service was not good. Kinda slow. Pretty good beer selection, but almost a quarter of them were out. First time there, not sure I'd go back
25 cents raw oysters during happy hour is absolutely unbelievable!!! Fresh b, plump, and delicious. The char grilled ones for $10 a dozen is amazingly delicious and also a super deal!! In addition, we tried their fried cat fish and fried green tomatoes stack with shrimp remoulade, and they were well done too. Service was very warm, friendly, and efficient. A must must visit for oyster lovers!!
It was awesome! The waitress that we had was very nice! I ordered bloody mary but I didn't like it so I told her about it and she told me that she can switched it with something else. Which was very nice!
