Good but not great. Service was more than adequate and the food was tasty but again not great. I would not recommend the lasagna. Dry and lacking any significant flavor to call it special or unique. This was a real let down as it was recommended by the wait staff.
All of the pastas we tried were great. The starters were not memorable. The pizza was very large with a less than great crust but good toppings. Good but pricey wine list. Service was fine. A bit pricey for what is served.
Service was horrible. Food was awful.
When walking into the restaurant from our room at the Waldorf. No one greeted us. I didn't know if we should just sit or wait for someone to approach us. So we just waited as the hostess and waiters talked to each other. Finally I interrupted their conversation and I asked for a table for 2.
Delicious! I had a side salad, bread with pepper infused olive oil, and lasagna. It was as good as it looks. Great space with nice vibe. Big open space. It was busy at 5 pm. Great location just outside the quarter. Very friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend.
We ordered a pasta dish and a pizza. The pasta was overly flavored. Very salty! And under cooked. I had one bite and thought it was not edible so I just waited for my pizza, which never came out. I waited for 40minutes for a simple pizza that I never received. I was very upset that 3 other groups that came after we order were serviced before us. The other groups were large families of 5-8 people. Finally after seeing that we weren't being served I asked for the check for my pasta and left. We were incredibly upset.
The happy hour here is clutch. Half off wine and pizzas. What more do you really need? The pizza is thin crust. Decently chewy and flavorful. Had better but those were outstanding. Stands up probably better than most pizza in the middle of the country. A pizza and two glasses of good wine during happy hour ran us less than $25 which is hard to complain about. Nice atmosphere.
I definitely feel like we were being racially profiled. No one wanted to seat us. No one wanted to give us menus or water. No one wanted to take our order. Then finally after we ordered, our food was never served. This was blatantly racist.
