The hurricane is potent! About half way through, I felt fine, by the end, I was feeling it. The hurricane and the cyclone are like starburst fruit flavoured cocktails. The staff were friendly and the complimentary popcorn a nice mid-afternoon snack. You pay extra for the hurricane glass, but the $3 deposit is refunded if you take the glass back to the bar, making it $9 for the drink itself. You can keep the glass, but they will box it up for you as you leave. The courtyard is very nice, the piano bar is cool. It's a must see in NOLA.
Great place at NOLA, it was my last meal in my last trip to this amazing city. They have really nice water features at the patio, so it makes a really nice atmosphere to eat. We ordered gator, oyster, catfish and a salad and everything tasted super good, the service was also very friendly and the prices were good. A nice place to visit! Thank you!
Great place. Many different bars for your liking. You can smoke in the courtyard. Dueling piano bar is great. This is a bourbon St must. Probably has the most famous staple drink ever.....the hurricane
What a great place! Having fun inside or outside you will not be disappointed! Best Pat O'Briens's Bloody Mary, Cyclone or Hurricane let's not forget about the 57 Chevy! Our server Renata was fabulous in guiding us with drink selections! This place is a comfy, yet jazzy. Try the piano bar too!
I'm happy to say that I'm the 1,800th person to write a Google review on the world famous Pat O'Brien's. This is a must see when down in the French Quarter. The Hurricane cocktail was invented here and can be enjoyed inside the historical bar or out back on the patio. (And because it New Orleans you could even take it to go) All around a very neat place where things could easily get slightly out of hand if you're not paying close attention. I would recommend staying here for a couple drinks then moving on down the line to see what else Bourbon Street has to offer!
