The food here is dope. The vegetarian options are delicious. I’m always in awe of how good it is. It’s cheap for how great it is. The bar/venue is like hole n the wall. Its cool. Sure. BUT I GO FOR THE FOOD
As a venue, Siberia offers a variety of performers and entertainers. I'll easily check out a Balkan band, several metal bands, and burlesque in the same week. If you're looking for comfort and seating, go elsewhere. This is standing/mosh room only, and a superb space to properly cut a sweaty rug. Siberia's food is super cheap and highly comforting. The burger (and beet burger) are among the best in town, and their specials are always hearty and on-point. It's a great place to start or end the night.
FAVORITE place to eat in NOLA! Food is cooked just like my grandmother and mother used to make. Bartenders are all super friendly. Five stars is not enough stars for this place!
Very odd place but we had a great time. My wife is Ukrainian and she thought this place was a Russian themed restaurant/bar based on what she saw online. The only thing Russian about this place was the food and the name. My wife, parents and I all enjoyed the food while we got many funny looks from people wondering why we were there. My wife said the food was pretty authentic. Our Uber driver thought we were lost when she picked us up because we looked very out of place. All in all, we had a great time and have a funny story to tell. Thx NOLA!
A dark little hole in the wall, feels like your favourite niche. Drinks are reasonably priced and the small bite we had was tasty. There were numerous people who came for food and left so I believe that's a good indicator. Only real dislike is that you can't see the whole stage from every seat at the bar. For comedy, this isn't an issue but for burlesque it isn't so helpful.
