Love “ Top of the Trop”! The view off the balcony was amazing love the drinks , love the basket game where you throw your empty Grenades!
There hand grenade is a must! It's very strong but doesn't taste strong. I loved the live music! The atmosphere was great! The staff were amazing! We will deffo go back if we ever visit new Orleans again!
Typical chain bar with a kitschy drink menu. The hand grenades are not to be missed for the full touristy New Orleans experience. They're stronger than they look! The shark attack is a drink you don't want for yourself, but if you stick around the bar long enough someone else will order it and you can experience.
Pretty good zydeco music but I think jubair used to own the place so I wouldn't recommend it
There are about 4 different Tropical Isle in the French Quarter, all home to the "most powerful drink the hand grenade." This drink cost $10 and is pretty strong. If you save your cup, you'll save $1 on your next grenade. The drink is served with a little plastic grenade that floats on top that you can throw into a basket hanging from the ceiling.
