We hosted a party here during a conference and it was a smash success! The staff pulled out the stops to make it happen and our guests were well taken care of. They all commented that the food was great, and the location is perfect for the conference. Will be back next year!
Really good beer selection! But they have this new “poutine” on the menu and I went with a Canadian and we both agreed, that’s a insult to the Canadian poutine... you should remove it or just change the name of the plate... whatever is easier, but please don’t call it “poutine” - thanks, eh!
Great beer selection in a modern industrial space. Happy hour was great - we shared the tots appetizer and got the craft beer of the month for $3. Gameday IPA. Our server Johanna was kind and personable. She took great care of us. We liked this place so much we returned and we were served by Will and Chanel. Again, service was outstanding. This place is a great retreat from the noise and chaos of Bourbon Street if you want to carry on a conversation.
If you are in town for a convention, DO NOT EAT HERE. They have a serious staffing issue.
Is the food good? I wouldn't know. We never got our order.
Then Saturday lunch. We thought we'd give them another chance. We had a group of 9. The place wasn't busy. We ordered apps only. We are still here right now. We ordered our apps 35 minutes ago. Still not here. How long does it take to fry pickles, really? And again, there is just one waiter for the whole restaurant. On a Saturday? With a large convention just 3 blocks away? I haven't even gotten my water yet. Never again.
Great beer selection and decent apps. Our server, Mario, was very enthusiastic about his job, and gave us good recommendations on what they had to offer, even giving us a few samples to try out! Would recommend to anyone visiting the area!
If I could give LESS than one star, I would.
We were here for a convention. We went to World of Beer on Thursday night. It wasn't crowded and we had a group of about 10. We ordered burgers and appetizers. An hour later, we still didn't have our food. Turns out there was ONE waiter and ONE cook. We figured they were just ill-prepared and it was a Thursday night, so no big deal.
