This little cafe had the most delicious food I have tasted in New Orleans. It is a hidden gem in NOLA! The employees and owner were so friendly and made it such an enjoyable atmosphere. We plan to visit again next time we are in the area!
Service is great, and the food was delicious. Great fellowship with the workers. Food was reasonably priced and portions were good sized.
I've been to cafe Gentilly many times. The food is excellent and is very reasonably priced. Good homestyle cooking and good portions. I highly recommend it.
They have a great friendly staff. Food is delicious and cheap. Cash only so make sure you come prepared. Definitely would recommend!
I do not even know why this place is even open. I️ walked in to all the staff sitting down and one woman 1/2 greeting me at the door. This is a run down place with dismal service . Was the whole crew on break all at once?? They didn’t move until she yelled my order and even then took their time getting off the phones. I wanted a basic sandwich and fries and the fries I wanted they were out of, plus they are a CASH ONLY place. #joked do yourself a favor and just close down.
