This place is the truth and life!!! We fried chicken with red beans a side of fried shrimp and steamed veggies plus a cup of gumbo! Tje chicken came out steaming as did the fried shrimp!! Veggies were good and the red beans delicious! Angel (Angelica) was our bartender she pours the right amount alcohol and ensured we were fine over the course of our stay! Last but not least those oysters!!! We ordered 6 and I was mad we didn’t order 66!!! Love this place and can’t wait until it comes to Houston!!

I'm not opposed to going to this restaurant again but I'll be prepared for the salty batter that they use. Please fix this.

I never really liked oysters until I tasted the ones from here. They are amazing. I've tried oysters at many of the places that are well known in the city, but these are by far the best. Because I wasn't a huge fan of oysters, I did as I normally do, just tried one of someone else's. It was so good that I packed my original order and ordered a half-dozen (I still wasn't completely convinced). But then I killed that 1/2 and had to order another half. From now on, I order a dozen of oysters and a cup of gumbo, which is also amazing. The gumbo taste like I made it myself.

Nice environment. The food is good, has a spin on the sides but doesn't lack much in flavor. The staff moves pretty swiftly so the wait time wasn't long at all (went on a Saturday about 930).

Delicious food, friendly waitress, medium wait time. I would definitely recommend this place to friends. We will return and try the oysters. They look very appetizing. I have a dislike for funny textures, but they make them look awesome to try out.

This is my third time at this restaurant and I think the food is great, with one exception. It's way too salty. Anyone who coins knows that most of the seasonings have salt added so no need to use too much or add salt. This is why our people have high blood pressure and cholesterol. My only recommendation is for the chef to go easy on the salt.

You also advertised a 2 for 1 happy hour drink special from Monday- Wednesday. When I had company in town this was the tie breaker between you and another restaurant. When we showed up the waiter had no idea what we were talking about and then he checked with someone else who said it was on the works but not yet a promotion. I would like to know what preparation goes into giving a 2 for 1 and why is it on your website?
