When i brought my dog in to use the tub, a lady who worked there made me feel uncomfortable. My dog is big and lean with thick fur and long legs. The lady assumed i didn't feed my dog enough and didn't let it go. My dog eats when she wants to, the bowl is never empty. She is prone to heat stroke (she had one last year, when she was out for fifteen minutes); she doesn't eat as much as she does in the winter. What was funny, a great Dane was behind her the whole time she was talking, who's body was like mine, lean. Anyhow, i shouldn't have to explain how my dog eats. I should have been about to get my dog bathed and purchase whatever else without having someone tell me i don't feed my dog enough in front of other customers.
They have a self serve bathing tub outside, which i used; they provide you with shampoo and towels for five dollars

Art and dogs! Important to support locally owned stores. I Iike the combination of art supplies and dog toys.. good variety for a small store. Very pro pit bull here.
I have been to several pet stores since we moved to New Orleans, but this one is the BEST! They have a large selection of items. Their staff is incredibly kind and helpful. AND, last but not lease, their prices are reasonable. Since this place is set up like a boutique, I was expecting their prices to be outrages and that simply was not the case. You should definitely give these guys a try!!
