Beautiful park, playground, green spaces and benches. A little bit of a homeless contingent sets up camp sometimes but nice!
Attended the monthly art market at Palmer Park, which usually happens on the last Saturday of the month. There are probably 24 - 36 artists with a nice variety of work.
Fabulous for holiday shopping. Will be open Saturday . Saturday and Sundays open before the holiday; believe 16th and 17th this year.
Right at the end of the streetcar line on Carrollton Avenue Palmer Park. They have a classic Archway and a war memorial in the middle but the real attraction is the very clean playground. There are lots of young children in the neighborhood and it's a great place to bring kids or to sit on the bench and relax. There's often art markets and food festivals in the park. And it's close to a supermarket in Walgreens if you want to have a picnic.
A great place to enjoy a beautiful day finding some leads for a job, getting that homework complete, and always dancing in the rain alone or with that other half.
