This is a nice, quiet little park. Kind of hard to find, but that's what makes it quiet.
This park is underutilized by most New Orleanians because the loop it is found within is a neighborhood of boat houses on the marina. There is a small pond & picnic area. It could use some love and care by Parks & Recreation as the grass is usually very high.
Nice place to view the Lake, watch the sunset or sailboats go racing on Wednesdays.

West End Park has a .75 mile paved sidewalk like track around its perimeter. There are lots of trees, benches, a tire swing and a small pond with ducks. It's a nice place for a quiet, peaceful walk just blocks away from the Breakwater point where Lake Pontchartrain waves at the Lighthouse.
