We went to a festival there my girlfriend and i it was very nice there. But every time i have there its been really nice. It been really nice really clean. It looks like they take really good care of the park. It over looks the river it's place walk along the river. We feel pretty safe when we go.
Beautiful view of the river. The steam boat play music through the vapor whistle, very cool.
Good walk to the mall and is pretty safe at day time. On another hand is pretty dangerous at night. Usually all benches are taken by homeless people. You can see rats by the water and also near benches. Not recommend you to sleep there at night, but again - very different when it's not dark.
Nice walk along the water. Fun to sit and watch others. Historically interesting.
Home of the Jazz and Seafood Festival. Live jazz by New Orleans finest musicians. Walking distance to the zoo and waterfront promenade. Watch the riverboats paddle by. Bring your camera !
