My dog is dying because he is experiencing cluster of seizures as going to the vet is too stressful for him. He has brain tumor and needs phenobarbital to control his seizures. Although I was promised the medicine, later, I was told that since I do not want to go to neurologist then I cannot have the medicine as I can only get it from the neurologist. Almost every veterinarian and every dog owners who are posting online got the medicine from their vet. If you google it, it will tell you, you can get it from your vet.
The vets themselves are WONDERFUL! The younger receptionist is atrocious. She was extremely rude and abrasive with me
For the price, I might consider this place anyway, but Dr. Christine Whatley is the real reason to come. Your pet's life, (and dare I say your life), is missing something if she's not in it! I could make a Lifetime movie about how my dog is completely healed thanks to her genuine love for my pup, sensitivity to our financial situation, and of course top notch expertise and intuition. But you should just see for yourself.
Although I have read others complain about some of the staff. I can honestly say they are the best! As someone who has worked in the public service arena. People never understand that thise who are trying to help you are people too. From the front desk to techs and doctors. They are caring people. Also they give back and try to help animals.
I've been looking for a vet that I felt treated my dogs like their own. This place is that place. As long as I live here, my kiddos will be coming to SAF.
Going to this place is a total waste of time and money.
