And the center of the hotel is so cute! It has a little found with pretty shrubbery all around.
Our daughter enjoyed the pool as well. Overall a good price as well. We will visit again for sure.
Being in this location in the city, it's actually pretty quiet as well. So we slept very good.
A great place to stay while in New Orleans. This is where you want to be when visiting the Big Easy. It's just a short walk from anywhere you'd want to be, but quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. Great rooms, lovely courtyard and bar.
What is 5 stars at this location is the staff and the location. Such warm and friendly people. Public transportation is close, but it is an easy walk to the heart of the French Quarter.
Just the parking fee for guests was excessive.
Super friendly staff, all across the board. Very welcoming. The lady that checked me in was wonderful. A nice and welcomed change of pace after traveling over the past 11 days all over the country. Hotel was nice and clean and excellent location.
Really enjoyed our stay. It is close enough to be able to walk wherever in the quarter, or you could just jump in the trolley and go wherever you'd like to go.
I would give it 5 stars if I didn't have to pay for parking. I know it is New Orleans. I know space is limited. I still don't like to pay because I arrive in a car.
Good location and the price was right. The courtyard of the hotel is a nice place to relax and the inside breakfast/bar is okay as well. Parking lot very troublesome if you have a large truck or SUV (I parked an F250 in there, but it was very close). Pillows were tiny but luckily I was the only one in the room. It is in a pretty quiet area and seemed pretty secure as the parking lot is fully locked up at night. Obviously there are nicer hotels in the area, but this place worked out pretty well as a budget conscious selection outside of the bed pillows. I give it 4 stars on value proposition alone as hotels in the similar area were up to 50% more expensive and I did not plan on spending a ton of time at the hotel during my stay. The staff was very friendly and everything else was great.
It is old and small, but those are a plus to us. It is clean and comfortable.
