Great location for convention goers. Has decent meeting rooms, but the setup on the second floor is very awkward and hard to find. Catering services were good along with service.
Oh my goodness! I have suddenly stayed at a more accommodating and cordial hotel. That staff we're fabulous. It was my fiance's birthday and they made her feel so special! Everyone was so kind and helpful to us. I am definitely looking forward to heading back to New Orleans
Stayed in a king size room. Room was large and clean and the bed was comfortable. The noise from the hall was loud and could be heard clearly in our room when people in the hall were just talking normally. We left our room each day around 9AM and returned around 4PM and room service had still not made it to our room to clean. Location was nice, not too far to walk to and from activities or catch a trolley or bus.
Convenient location. However room service is a bit lacking. If you use the shampoo, conditioner, lotion bottles, room service will just throw them away and not give you new ones. You'll need to ask the front desk for more even if you are staying many nights. Definitely one of the lower end options for a Hilton.
Curb appeal is nice and fitting. Lobby and food area modest. Everything clean. Food was actually very good and quick. However, not 1 minute of sleep. Apparently being on the 5th floor even numbered rooms is horrible...ALL night the elevator mechanisms kept me up. Sounded like the elevator was going to crash into the room. Plus the neighbors played dueling banjos type music all night no doubt to try to drown out the elevator noises.
