Rooms are clean, modern, attractive. Complimentary breakfast daily, drinks and light dinner Monday-Thursday. Nice workout facility; I was able to keep up with my training while vacationing here. Staff courteous and friendly. Within easy walking distance of Bourbon St. & Superdome. Will definitely stay again if I return to New Orleans again on similar budget.
New hotel. Front desk staff very friendly. Housekeeping only came into room 2x within 5 days. Needed to call desk to get staff to change towels and bed. Breakfast not up to Hilton standards, frozen fruit, watery eggs, warm juice, cold or no coffee. Social hour could not keep up with guests.
When were visitng NOLA a few weeks ago, this hotel was immaculately kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and social hours were delicious. They set out board games for families, and there is also a pool table. The location is perfect because it is just outside of all the activity of the French Quarter but close enough to walk to everything. It was nice to come back to a quieter part of the Quarter after a day of sight seeing.
I'd never stayed at a Homewood Suite before, but this one had the distinct advantage of being RIGHT in the French Quarter-- cross the street and you're there! Tons of bars and restaurants and music and French Quarter-nes a stones throw away. Our room had two beds and a sleeper sofa, a full kitchen, and a big bathroom. Staff was excellent, and breakfast was better than average! Parking was about $40 and was valet-only at the facility, but there were other options nearby (not necessarily cheaper-- gotta pay one way or another). Overall, it was a good spot
Absolutely perfect location at the edge of the French Quarter. Close enough to walk to everything but not in the middle of noise and chaos. Hotel is lovely and has a comfortable lobby and breakfast area. Staff is truly exceptional. Helpful, friendly and professional. Pricing is very reasonable given location and quality. Will definitely stay here next time we are in New Orleans.
The hidden gem is the rooftop pool, patio and putting green. There was almost no one up there when we went in the evenings. The street car stops in front of the hotel if you don't want to walk ($3.00/day unlimited trips.)
