Neat unique place to stay. Within waking distance to many major attractions. Nice and helpful staff. Beds could be softer.
Beautiful architecture. Great location. Nice staff. But the walls are too thin. We had issues with neighbors partying next door; we can hear everything!!
I definitely will book this hotel again next time I go to New Orleans!

Nice upscale restaurant across the street. Friendly local bar two blocks down. Convenient trolly stop on the corner. Owner/daytime desk clerks were grumpy and rude. Acted as if they owned and ran a very upscale hotel. They do not and should check their attitude. Will not return.
Room was noisy the traffic noise stopped around 4am and returned at 6am with a vengeance! You hear every bump in the road that cars hit. The road are in poor condition. We requested a late checkout from night clerk who gave us late check out time. Employees repeatedly knocked on door the next morning waking us up to tell us when check out was and we repeatedly had to tell them we had a late check out. Air conditioner, while providing ample cool air, it whistled with a huge wind noise, and the vent rattled when air circulated. Room had a slight musty odor. Room had access to balcony and beautiful view of the street. Wood floor were clean. Lovely four poster bed with very old mattresses (threads hanging loose) and we woke with sore backs, which is unusual. No elevator. No bell hop. Don’t bring heavy bags!
A nice place on the edge of the French Quarter. A bit of a walk to the heart of Bourbon Street, but much quieter and less hectic. The rooms are fairly large with historic architecture. The bed could be more comfortable. Breakfast is light fare. A little overpriced for the quality, but we did stay over New Year's weekend. The staff was always helpful and friendly.
Swimming pool area was nice was just too cool to use. Landscaping was nice. Street is lined with uncountable numbers of rainbow flags.
