I wouldn't stay here unless you have no other options. This place should truly be a last choice. Especially for the price. There are definitely better deals and nicer hotels to choose.

Overall, would stay again!

I loved that every room was a suite. Staff was courteous and helpful. Breakfast was free, there was a lot of it, and there were many choices. The pool was clean even though it was closed and too cold for swimming in December. The atrium is beautiful and the layout is a fun design.

The Staff was very professional! They made our Stay so enjoyable! I want to recognize Dina and Duane! Dina worked the front desk! She made us feel at home! Please let her know the Stokes Family from Arkansas really enjoyed her hospitality and kindness!

The free breakfast was very good and changed a bit daily. Eggs, varying meats, pancakes or a waffle maker, different cheeses, yogurts, hard-boiled eggs, different bagels and English muffins, etc.

The free food and wine/beer during happy hour Mon-Wed was nice to have. Was a little disappointed to see the food option on Wednesday was actually a sub-par food truck that you had to pay for, but oh well.

The hotel experience was great, in the usual ways that hotels can be great. But the best experience I had was with the valets. They were impressive courteous, and quick, which I appreciate. The rooms were plenty big, with lots of extras in the kitchen.

Noisy (Very noisy), very dated, smells old/mildewy, hidden fees, definitely no value here. Road noise and hall/surrounding room noise is ridiculous. Sounded like the neighbors were in our room with us. Hidden fees are another huge issue. The bed was also really uncomfortable. Stains on the couch, floor. Simple things missing like trash bags. The microwave had old food remnants in it. The staff wasn't overly friendly when we checked in, but improved as the night/morning came around.

Duane was the Chef for breakfast! All the food was hot and the cold food was cold! He is truly a Ambassador for your Marriot family! Let him know that the Stokes Family from Arkansas was very satisfied, full and honored to meet him and enjoy his cooking! Thank you for Dina and Duane!

Liked this place a lot! Great service. Room was really nice (only some slight stains and a broken chair arm, but mostly great!). The separation of the bedroom/bathroom/kitchen and the living area by a few stairs made the place seem bigger. Cleaning service was great - they even washed the dishes for us.

Location was very close to the conference center, and still walking distance to the French quarter (about 15 minutes to the closest portion).
