We booked this hotel with our Southwest Vacation package. Because of the price, I was by no means expecting anything fancy. We just wanted somewhere clean and comfy while we spent a few days in the area. However, I was completely dissatisfied that our initial room was not clean. The floors had not been vacuumed, there was blue shampoo or body wash spilled on the sides of the tub from where it hadn't been cleaned and there was hair in the tub from the previous guests. The bed was made, but I feared it wasn't clean due to the looks of other things in the room. It looked like the housekeeper had a "I don't really care" attitude and half-assed when it came to cleaning the room. I walked back to the front desk and asked to be switched to another room since this one was not clean. The lady at the desk did not seem the least bit surprised. There was no type of apology or "sorry for your inconvenience". She simply said nothing and issued new keys to another room. It seemed like they must hear this a lot. The new room appeared clean for what it was. There was food left in the refrigerator from the previous guest, but by this point I was tired and we didn't plan on using the fridge anyway. The rooms are definitely worn and nothing fancy to look at, but like I stated before, I wasn't expecting anything spectacular due to the price. As long as the room is CLEAN, it's an okay place to stay if you're just looking for an affordable place to lay your head while on your trip and don't mind the fact that it's not exactly the best looking thing. However, based on my experience, I do not plan on staying at this hotel again.
Giving 1 star because front desk person is very nice and friendly. Web picture is so different that the actual, If you do have other option do not go to this place. Room is decent once you open the door but... Only thing I like was TV Channels.
This place is only for a last minute visit! Visited for New Years. Returned to room that night. Roach in the closet (alive and crawling). Once I contemplated about laying in the bed for 30 min instead of sleeping in my car, I finally decided to lie down. Why did I do that? Spider crawling toward my head beside the pillow. That's how my night went. No sleep what so ever, because I was playing Bug Watch all night. Ugh
The hotel is super accessible. For the price you can't beat it. Clean beds, towels, bathrooms. Will definitely be back! Thanks
3. Hair Blowdryer is broken has cracked on it really dirty and dusty. , Bathroom edges has molds in it.
Stayed here Sunday night, called an hour after checking out Monday after realized I left my ipad. They said they looked and didn't see it so either they didn't look or someone in the staff took it. Don't stay here if you have electronics!! As far as the room itself you get what you pay for.
The only positive is that they held our luggage for us before and after checking out.
1. First room assigned bed cover has stain (not sure if it's blood but it's gross) Requested to have non-smoking room but room smelled like cigarettes smoke.
2. Got another room bed is a bit cleaner but had to request for a new linens just to make sure.
