The rooms were simple, clean, and beautiful. Each equipped with its own thermostat and ceiling fan which was a godsend in June. The Sonoma Bath Co. citrus soaps and lotion were delicious to wake up and end a day to. The porch was fabulous to sit out and read or watch the rains roll in. The breakfast she fixed up in the mornings was divinely scrumptious. We always enjoyed the morning conversation around the table with the other guests and Cindee.
Cindee had fantastic suggestions for things to do on a rainy day, good local eats, treats, and other ventures. She has a wonderful way of taking you in and making you feel just where you should be.
Our first bed and breakfast and we will do it again. We we able to park on the street directly in front of Southern Comfort and did not have to worry about parking. The house was nice and clean and breakfast was delicious. My husband I both agree that the breakfast at Southern Comfort was some of the best food we had while visiting New Orleans. If we visit NOLA again, we will definitely stay with Cindee. She made us feel welcome and gave us tips on what to see and where to eat!

When my husband surprised me with a *0th birthday trip to New Orleans, little did I know that the nicest part of the surprise was such a lovely place to stay and a new friend found. We were welcomed with such Southern hospitality and friendliness by Cindee. She went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable and at home, giving us guidance for some of the best food in the city (including some incredible breakfasts) and stories of the history and neighborhood. We could not have asked for a better haven of respite after days of walking and nights of dancing. We look forward to our next visit soon. Thanks, Cindee, for helping make this the best trip to New Orleans.
Stayed here during a work convention instead of the boring downtown hotel. Loved it! The neighborhood was great for walking and eating and getting away from the hustle and bustle in the French Quarter. Getting downtown was easy and fun by trolley, plus parking was convenient for my vehicle and a cost saver. Most of all though, we felt welcomed immediately by Cindee. It was obvious she is passionate about New Orleans and gave us awesome insider advice on what to do and where to eat. We will definitely stay here again next time we're in town.

Delightful get-away. We enjoyed not having to drive once we got to this location. Public transportation was easily accessible. Neighborhood restaurants were excellent.
Let's just say our first 24 hours of New Orleans accommodation was a hot hell without air conditioning. We had actually just come from a wonderful time at the beach and were about to go back when we stumbled upon Cindee's Southern Comfort. We were fortunate there was a room at the last minute. Cindee was kind to check us in and ensure our frowns were turned up side down. I've traveled across the states and internationally, it's safe to say Cindee runs a little slice of heaven.
