The food was awful, we where told by Roy(manager) to get up and stop eating because the seating was limited and they had to feed other people. He was extremely rude. Also he had us move to a tiny table even tho there where plenty of space in the room.
Just had our Christmas party they're surprisingly the food was quite enjoyable been on boats my whole life no big deal but I enjoyed the food. As a tourist I can see it being fun especially if you go during the day and able to see the different things that the captain was pointing out. Unfortunately we had sea fog but it was no big deal had great company on a boat and enjoyed it. Technically it is the last true steamboat down here on this part of the Mississippi. And after you Cruise the Mississippi if you would love to see our Beautiful bayous take a tour with Airboat Adventures 5145 Fleming Park Road. They seem to be the best air boat company out there and also have swamp boats as well.
Roy seam very unhappy with his job, maybe he should make some changes..
A great trip on the Ole Mississippi! Steamboat Natchez is a icon of the New Orleans shoreline and seen in most pictures of trips to the French Quarter, for a very good reason. The steamboat offers a variety of cruises down the Mississippi and into the delta for a decent price. In addition, food and (strong) drinks are served on board. Don't pass up a chance to get aboard the Steamboat Natchez if you are visiting New Orleans!
Get me out of here!!!
Never again, what a torturous little 2 hours! Full of misbehaving kids, parents drunk and SMOKING around everyone. I have seen animals behaving better than this people..
I went for my birthday last year!! It was ok!! I guess I expected more because of the price!! I got bored after an hour!! I didn't get the memo about it was 2 different rides needless to say when we came back to our table our stuff was packed up in a chair & try he waiter telling us we had to move!! Really?? The food gets a 4 but my daughter sure enjoyed it!! The bread pudding gets a 5 tho!! The view 3 being it was not a pretty part of the city!! I did get some nice things from the gift shop!!
We splurged and booked two tickets on the Steamboat Natchez. We enjoyed the ride, did not partake in the cuisine. Loved the music played by stream on the roof while waiting in line. There was great narration during the tour and jazz in the dining room. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves.
