Need to visit when it is not so busy. Waited about 5 minutes to get seated, which was very good. Unfortunately, once drinks were ordered, it took a while to get everything. My iced tea didn't arrive until after my meal. Halfway through our meal we were ready for refills on our drinks but the waitstaff didn't return until after we were done with our meal.
It looks better then it taste. They've taken a lot of items off their menu that we liked and we stopped going. We decided to give them a try this weekend and were disappointed yet again. The music was way too loud, the place was empty and it still took forever to get our food and some of the staff were more interested in huttling together then taking care of their patrons. Needles to say we won't be going back anytime soon.
The place was clean, and decorated for Halloween with specials advertised. It was just an off night with very slow service.
The family on one side of us was waiting on their meals (1 adult, 2 small children) and the couple on the other side of us were waiting to have their order taken.
I ate at the bar last night, and had a great waitress. She was very attentive and sweet. Food tasted great as well. The French onion soup is the best! Only complaint the food coming out was slow.
My experience with Applebee's tonight was lovely! The waitress who served my table was very courteous, and checked up with me multiple times to make sure that my needs were covered. It took a while to get my food, though it was to be expected, as I ordered some steak, and my food turned out to be hot and very delicious and satisfying, with a great, hearty portion of food. It was one of the best meals I've had in months. :)
Love the spinach and artichoke dip. Good food at reasonable prices. With Movie Tavern patrons eating at the show, it seems Applebee's is suffering from reduced clientele. While Applebees food is good, there kitchen is slow.
