I got the gator bites basket. It came with 2 round small pieces of buttery, toasted bread slices, nicely golden fries and super nicely Cajun. Battered and deep fried crunchy gator biggest for 13.99. I thought the price was a bit high since I'd gone elsewhere and gotten a larger amount and better quality of gator for less money but i guess that's not horrible . Be careful though. It wasn't until after i took the first bite of gator that I looked up and saw the sign that says all their fried food is spicy. It would be nice if there was a choice as I'm not a huge fan of spice

Is it the best Po Boy I have ever had? Ehhhh, but it comes close, and the portions help it out a lot. Prices aren't too bad either, especially for what you actually get.

Heads up: spicy here means Spicy. SPICY. Sp-i-i-i-icy. I was warned, I laughed it off, I regretted it immediately.

But seriously, the staff is great, the location is perfect for anyone: from the drunk frat boys partying all night to the business folk who wandered a couple blocks too far North, I have seen a variety of folks, everyone and anything.

This place has an old school deli feel to it. Booth seats repaired with duct tape, sticky tables, chips amd candy bar next to the register and drink cooler- just lile a deli.

It does take a bit of time to get your food, but whatever, just hang out and relax, it'll be there.

One of the few places on Bourbon Street I actually enjoy, and the only one I have come back to on purpose.

This place is very down to earth. You could tell the owner took pride in making sure he served the best food he could. After being away from the South for years, returning to eat here was absolutely worth the trip back!

Been here both times I have come to New Orleans, and will be back the next time through.

Real authentic Louisiana seafood! The Crawfish were perfect as well as the red beans and rice. This displaced Southerner now living in California and looking for a seafood fix doesn't want to leave this place.

HUGE Po Boys. Yeah yeah yeah, people use that word a lot, but seriously, these things are beastly and imposingly-large. Even for my 6'3", 230lb frame, they are monstrous. I have never sprung for the largest, as that would be enough for 3 people. Phew!

Shrimp Poboys was spicy and delicious. Lots of spicy shrimp next to cool lettuce, tomato and mayo with crusty bread. As others have said, it’s a “hole in the wall” and isn’t that where you get the best food? It did not disappoint!
