Worst service I’ve ever had at a casino! The supervisor Walter Gonzalez was very disrespectful and unprofessional. Worst experience at a casino buffet. I’m a local and would never go back here. So many other options in NOLA than to give these business my money.

I'm begging you - please avoid this seafood buffet on Fridays!! I received food poisoning on December 1, 2017, from this buffet. I know 100% it was from the buffet since my partner did not eat any seafood, and did not get sick. I was deathly ill for the following 48 hours. It almost ruined my entire vacation!

I came here to eat because I have eaten here before first I came for crablegs. They had bluecrabs. For those of you that eat them, my husband said they should have been females. The shrimps was mushy. The gumbo was scorched. Steak and fish were dry. How can you dry out fish? I ate oysters and butterpecan ice cream. It definitely not like the traditional Harrah brands i am accustom too. Certainly not worth 35.00 a person. Will not be back.

Staying in a nearby hotel, I assumed Harrahs would have a buffet, I came for breakfast and got a brunch meal...not a bad surprise! But what did take me aback was paying $37.64 for a breakfast with unremarkable food. The only things I ate and wanted more of was bread pudding and red beans. I was sitting next to a couple who said, "it wasn't worth us paying $80 for two people." Incidentally, the Doubletree hotel across the street has an equally good breakfast for $21. Yes there is a good selection, they offer champagne and other liquor, plus premium seafood, but this was expensive. Would I do it again, no. Would I recommend it, no. Is it convenient, yes. Do they have decent food, yes. Service is good also. Lots of friendly servers and smiling faces. Heck, for $37.64 you'd better be smiling and grinning.

I plan to contact Harrah's corporate to let them know that locals know about food poisoning at this buffet, and that something needs to be done. I also plan to contact the Louisiana Department of Health and make sure they are inspecting this buffet. It is not fair for many travelers to suffer the same fate I did! You have no idea how badly I wish I never even heard of this buffet after what I went through - please, don't let it happen to you!!

The worst! I had to endure the most horrific stomach pain from the buffet food my Birthday. Thanks Harrah for giving me a unforgettable birthday.

Also, when I was recovering from the food poisoning, two different workers at my hotel informed me that many locals are aware to avoid this seafood buffet because of past incidents of hotel guests getting food poisoning. Even our driver to the airport who had picked us up earlier in the week felt horrible that he failed to warn us to stay away from the buffet - he had told us certain places to go for great food.

Ps, my husband going to get a hotdog on Bourbon Street.
