A great idea for a fun way to see the city!! Rain can't stop you but make sure if it's chilly out you bundle up! Drove it to uptown with no trouble, I would advise one to avoid main roads.
These guys are AWESOME! Such a great price for an awesome way to get around the quarter and beyond. We paid for 8 hours and loved every minute of it. I'll definitely recommend these folks to EVERYONE!
We rented a 4 seat electrical car for a few hours just for the heck of it and it turned out to be one of the funnier parts of our trip. For some reason zipping around the city in an upgraded golf cart just cracked us all up. The price was reasonable and the cart is small enough that it fits down any of the narrow streets of New Orleans. We're planning another trip to the area and this has already been added to our list of "must have" for the adventure.
We had a great time with these carts, definitely better than walking or driving a car. Plus the kids loved it. The rates were reasonable and the employee we rented from was really nice. I do wish they would deliver the cart to you instead of having to pick up at their location because its close to downtown but not in a great area.
Horrible experience. Don't waste your $$$. Rented car with no plates. Told no problem. Car got towed. Refused to reimburse. Scam artists at best. Better off walking around the French Quarter.
