We were able to rent a car on the spot with no reservation and no credit card. Great customer service and the car was fine. The deposit when back into my account a few days late but that's ok. Over all really good experience.
Older, well used cars but they work and the staff is nice. Make sure you take lots of photos of the car before you drive away!
Just don’t. For starters, the owner tried to put me in a vehicle that felt like it was going to fall apart at any time, and looked like it had survived Katrina. When I brought it back and complained, he ( unhappily) put me in a newer vehicle. The deposit is about the same as other reviewers, and like some, 30 days later, we have yet to get the deposit back.
DO NOT EVER RENT A CAR FROM NIFTY! My mom rented a SUV with them and the experience was HORRIBLE! Im convinced all of their cars are 2006 and under! They gave her a 2006 KIA sorento that smelled as if it had water damage. There were stains all over the floor, the air conditioner would either blow high or not at all, the car shook uncontrollably as soon as it hit 60mph, the emergency brake was broken, there was not a updated insurance card in the car, the windshield wipers dont have any rubber on them and they obviously put their own inspection sticker on it because you could still see the sticker that was there prior. The day after renting the vehicle the tire blew out on her. She called the young lady Rachel who helped her set everything up and she was not a help at all. She's very rude for starters and she never followed up after all of the problems were reported! Every time i asked to speak to someone other than herself she would refuse and say that they were just going to tell us the same thing she was saying. She even went as far as to hang up in my face. Needless to say they charged her 651 on top of her having to pay for a tire! They want to run their business and price standards according to the surrounding car rental businesses but their vehicles and customer service is not up to par. Everything about this place is terrible. Its a rip off. I've never even known hertz, enterprise or any other REAL rental car place to posses or distribute a car thats 11 years old! I know this place has to be writing their own reviews because I can not believe one single person has ever had anything good to say about this place. STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE. TAKE YOUR CHANCES WITH SOMEONE ELSE. I DO NOT ADVISE ANYONE TO RENT FROM HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE OVER CHARGED AND RENT A CAR THAT CAN BREAK DOWN ON YOU!
These guys are just amazing! I was so much in need of a car and I was frustrated by Enterprise rental cuz they wanted me to first have a credit card and a bunch of other documents despite being an international. Nifty saved me the mess. They are very flexible, friendly and understanding. Their pricing is like no other in town. Super cheap! If you are any international wishing to have a car for your needs in town, this is the place. The two ladies who work there are on top of their game! They treated me like a king!! Try them out first, before going elsewhere.
